Russell Brunson
Day 1 kicked off with the founder of ClickFunnels.
Click Funnels has helped businesses generate:
- 39,869,421 opt-ins (potential customers)
- 372,574 funnels
- 1,032,480 total pages (you're on one now)
- 309,864,790 page views (1 million per day)
- $89,000,000 in purchases (more offline)
We were reminded to spend our time in the clouds and the dirt. In business the 'dirt' can be your sales funnels, your process for getting clients. The clouds are your vision, the big thing you're trying to accomplish.
Russell taught about 'info funnels' and how using them at the beginning of your customers journey is the best fuel to increase sales.

Expert Secrets
DotComSecrets was Russell's first book about how to use sales funnels in your business. His next book will be called Expert Secrets and walked us through how to become an expert in your space in using three types of funnels in ClickFunnels.
Funnel 1. Virtual Summit
Funnel 2. Invisible Funnel
Funnel 3. Webinar Funnel
The virtual summit reminded me of my radio show where I interviewed entrepreneurs and talked about their success.
I loved how simple the process was using these three funnels and the steps Russell laid out.
Liz Benny
From what I could tell Liz was cutting onions on stage. She shared how using webinars took her from broke to boom. Lot's of teary story's but a TON of meat in how to run an effective webinar.
Webinars seem to have a ton of power in today's market and Liz is proof that they work. Her biggest reminder for me was that you've got to establish a solid system before trying to scale.

Ryan Stewman
Ryan is the Hard Core Closer. He taught the room about high ticket funnels and how to sell.
The highlight for most people was at the end of his presentation he had people line up and give them the sales objections they hear the most. He delivered on the spot 'closes' for every one of the objections that were shot his way.
We all know that coffee is for closers. This guy brewed 100 pots during his presentation.
Ryan's site:
World Teacher Aid
WTA builds schools in Africa. ClickFunnels donates money for every funnel created to WTA. Pretty cool seeing the check get handed over.
They shared the story of King William who was a young boy that made bracelets to make money for his family. WTA helped William go to school and get an education. Anybody that made a donation to WTA at the event got one of King William's bracelets. It was great seeing so many people wearing the bracelets the rest of the weekend.
So far we are at $33,405 and we are continuing to enter donations that came in today. We can't wait to share updates with you, so you can see the difference you have made. -

The Future of CF
Dylan, Todd, Russell and Ryan talked about all of the awesome things coming to ClickFunnels. Big things that are going to help me and my clients are the integrations with BrainTree, PayPal and BitCoin. For anybody selling supplements the integration with Stripe wasn't a viable option and there wasn't another choice that allows 'one click upsells'. You could still make it work, but this is WAY sexier. They're adding integrations with Zapier which will allow for a ridiculous amount of possibilities. Shopify integration is also coming. All awesome stuff.
Improved editor, an app store, launchpad, gilbert... so many awesome things coming.
Sean Stephenson
The title of Sean's presentation was 'Create Attraction, Connection & Overcome Insecurities'.
He asked us 'why were you born?' and 'what are you going to do with the time you have left?'
One thing he said really hit me hard. He said 'the quickest way to drown is to try and help people who don't want your help'.
Start helping those that swim towards you.
Lot's of people looked like their allergies were acting up during Sean's presentation.
Local Funnels
Alex went through two types of funnels that he uses for growing his gyms.
- Big Promise Funnel
- Trial Funnel
It was great to see a brick and mortar company doing so well with ClickFunnels. A lot of people think that an online sales funnel system is only for selling eBooks and online courses. Alex is one of many people using ClickFunnels to grow their offline business using Facebook and Google ads into a sales funnel.
Kyle Cease
I didn't expect to get business gems from the comedian. But his presentation really resonated with me. Kyle had been a stand up comedian for a while and one day decided he wanted to take his talent and blend comedy with transformation. He now speaks at events like this, Universities and other cool places where people pay him.
- Be Unconventional
- Be Bold
- Ask For What You Want
He had a couple of awesome 'guerilla' marketing tactics to get his business going that I loved and plan on using right away.
Garrett J White
When Garrett White is on stage your soul sits up. After stripping away every part of who he thought he was Garret found his voice and now he runs
helping others to find theirs.
The number of people I saw crying when they talked to Garret made me think his beard was made of pollen.
I had a great and intentionally short conversation with the man and told him I wasn't ready to cry so let's just take a cool picture. His podcast is on iTunes and if you can handle 'the eff word' is pretty awesome and inspiring.
Marcus Lemonis
The entire event was packed but Marcus drew in a massive crowd. His presentation was called People, Process, Product and he went through how the relationships within a company are vital to the businesses success.
He allowed for a Q&A period as well as helping people with their pitches. Marcus brought people up to the front and went through challenges they are currently facing with their business.
Even as he was trying to leave people were running up to him thanking him for the lessons they've learned from him.
This led to a few more test drives and whips around the marina and connected me with some really cool people. All while charging for free and getting a great parking place. #thankstesla
I didn't know he was still filming as I rambled on about the tech in the car. I would have tried to be more eloquent and jazzy.
Enoch and his team are building The Business of Architecture.
Alex is the author of 'Expert Riches'.
The tacos were great, the conversation was better.
